MANAGING STRESS

It is not healthy stay in a stressed state for too long. Studies show that chronic stress poses a serious health risk. We can turn to modern neurosciences to understand more about our autonomic nervous system – how we can use our mind to influence the body and vice- versa. On this basis, effective exercises have been developed for acute stress relief. We can use these exercises to support our mind and body to get back into a calm state.

This training can be given as a workshop or 4-6 weekly sessions.

GROWING STRESS RESILIENCE

This 16h-course is an experimental journey through the workings of the mind and body on the basis of modern neuroscience. Understanding how our mind-body system actually works allows us to apply these insights for stress management and resilience. We want to understand what -consciously or unconsciously - influences our experience in order to skilfully deal with our stress.

Though fun exercises we will experience the effects of certain action, tools and techniques on our mind-body system. The participants explore general and individual stress drivers and gain a deeper understanding of their own stress. We will explore a large tool box. Result: individual stress resilience plans for each participant – taylor-made to the individual needs and strengths.

MIND MATTERS FOR WELLBEING

This training focuses on how our mindset can improve our perceived wellbeing at work. Changing perspective by exploring how our minds work; understanding the interaction between mind and body and how we can use our amazing power to influence our experience of our day-to-day life. Discovering own pain-points and exercises to skilfully work with them.

ENERGY - 101

No need to be fully exhausted at the end of every work day - even if the job is very demanding.

A workshop format that focuses on energy management: how we manage our energy throughout the workday and workweek. It comprises reflections on time management, work styles, planning, productivity, stress drivers, sleep and nutrition. A mix of science based theories and very concrete exercises and tools.

RELAXING THE MIND

Short online sessions during the workday for a short guided relaxation of the mind. We all know very well that we need breaks but often skip them. Breaks are essential to manage our energy throughout the day. This format allows employees to put a break in their calendar. I use breathing techniques, visualizations and other exercises to switch our attention out of the head and into the body. Result: renewed focus and higher productivity.

COACHING

Individual One-on-One Coaching is a major gift for employess. Coaching provides a space for reflection to dig deeper for the roots of some unhelpful patterns that cause stress. A pragmatic and results oriented process to overcome perceived individual limitations.

It also complements training courses ideally. Insights and tools from the trainings can be implemented in the individual workday.
